Smart obstacle detection
Hansshow power front trunk kit is equipped with an intelligent anti-pinch feature. During closing, if an obstacle is detected, the frunk will automatically stop lowering to prevent injuries, ensuring user safety.
With car washing protection function
Equipped with a wireless remote control. In the car washing mode, press the lock button of the remote control to cut off the kick sensor. After the car washing, press the unlock button to start, so as to prevent the tailgate from mistakenly opening due to the kick of the water gun in the car washing state.
With gear detection function
This new version will only open the tailgate with kick sensor in P gear, The tailgate cannot be operated when the kick sensor is in the protection state in N/R/D gear, N. D. R gear can be opened according to the original manual buckle.

Power Frunk Soft Close Lock
Designed with an electric suction closure function, it is easy to operate, just gently push the luggage cover to the semi-closed state, and the luggage compartment will be automatically suctioned and locked. Frunk electric suction lock says goodbye to the trouble of pressing hard and lets you experience a wonderful convenience.
Check if the wiring harness is connected. Reset the control box: Press the reset button on the main control box, release it after hearing the sound, and use the button in the trunk to close the car.
2. Tesla APP cannot control the front trunk
Open or close from the screen. You need to press the brake and open or close it through the mobile application. You need to open the Tesla APP and click the vehicle to open

5. Unable to close the front cover
The front trunk lid is not pushed to the semi-locked state. It can be pushed to the semi-locked state through the APP, the central control screen or manually.
6. The front trunk opens too low
Adjust the height. After manually pushing it to the desired height, press and hold the reset button on the control box until it makes a sound, then release it.
7. After installing the front trunk, it opens normally from the screen, but cannot be closed.
Need to be reset. Press and hold the reset button on the main control box and release it after hearing the sound. Use the button inside the trunk to close the door. After closing, use the screen to open it. Then, you can use the screen to close it.
8. The front bumper opens or closes too quickly
Adjust the speed. Press and hold the reset button on the control box and listen to the sound of the horn, there are up to 5 levels.

This definitely changed how I use my car and was fun to install. Only difficulty I had was getting the old struts off. I ended up using a tool that looks like a curved dental pick to pop them open.

Almost perfect
I watched several videos on how to install this before I attempted it. I agree you need to have some mechanical ability, but not a lot. The reason I call it almost perfect, is the one thing they need to add to their package is a tool to get the clip off that is on the top and bottom. I tried several different tools and then actually went to Harbor Freight Monte a super long screwdriver almost 22 inches. Then I ground the tip to a point put it in my device made bins in it to accommodate getting around the things necessary to get the clips off. But you can’t just have a point to get in. It has to be a flat also to slide into that small hole. I should have videoed what I did, but I’m not quite that techie. that was the hard part. I would say the rest of it was very straightforward. The other thing they don’t show on the video is putting the double stick tape on the back of the modules. It’s very important because it’s very difficult to get zip ties into those areas to hold it down without the double stick tape.
However, the product itself want to install. It works perfectly. If you follow the directions I love it. Even more important than that my wife loves it. We use the frunk almost exclusively.
Thank you for making this product. I’m sure I will love it for years to come. Now I can’t imagine not having this option.

I installed this myself in about 4 hours. It took a long time due to breaks and getting the right tool to get into the tiny space for the motorized parts that lift the hood. I am very glad that I installed this. I use the Frunk a lot now. Before this I never used the Frunk.

What The Frunk?
This power frunk feature should be standard equipment on all premium Teslas period. This is the best, most used, addition to my Model Y. It’s extremely helpful when hands are full, prevents potential damage to the hood while manually closing it and your hood stays free of hand prints.
