The Upgrade That Wakes Up the Model 3 SR Sound System
The premium audio upgrade completely transforms the sound quality in the Model 3 Standard Range. The system becomes fuller, louder, clearer, and finally has real bass. It makes the car feel like it should have come with this setup from the factory.
Installation is not too bad, but the first connector can be a pain. Search YouTube for a couple of instruction videos and make sure to follow the steps for unplugging the LV and HV connectors. Once that part is done, the rest of the harness routing is straightforward.
After installation, everything works smoothly. The additional speakers come alive, the soundstage opens up, and music feels richer at all volumes.
This is one of the best value upgrades for the SR and makes a big difference in everyday driving.
