Due to the fragility of the original vehicle bracket, it is recommended to place soft rubber pads underneath the bracket before installation. This helps absorb impact and prevents damage to the original bracket.

FAQ

It cannot close automatically?

Reason: The front cover box has not been pushed to the semi-locked position

Solution: It can be achieved through the app, central control screen, or manually pushed to the semi-locked state

Is the opening height of the front cover too low?

Solution: After manually pushing it to the desired height, press and hold the reset button on the control box. When you hear a beep, release the button

Is the front cover opening or closing too quickly?

Solution: Adjust the speed by pressing and holding the reset button on the control box, listen for the beep, with a maximum of 5 levels

Just installed the front cover; it opens fine from the screen but cannot be closed?

Solution: Perform a reset by pressing and holding the reset button on the main control box. Release it when you hear a beep. Close the door using the button inside the car trunk. After it's closed, you can use the screen to open and close it again

Opening the front cover from the screen only unlocks it; it does not pop up?

Solution: Check the ground wire and ensure the connection of the plug with the original vehicle. Reset the control box: press and hold the reset button on the main control box, release it when you hear a beep, and close the door using the button inside the trunk

Unable to control the front cover from the mobile app?

Solution: To open or close from the screen, press the brake pedal. For mobile app control, go to 'Home Controls,' then tap 'Open' on the vehicle model to activate

Quiet Fast and Secure

Professional OEM sound and function. Work well with app and on screen controls. The only tiny touch they could add to make it better would be for the screen to read Close when the Frunk is in the open position. But that’s very minor. You can see that the hood is up so pressing the open button you know will close it.

Amazing mod!

The installation instructions didn't work step by step for my 2024 M3P, but kit is very easy to install and adjust. It is a great and functional addition for every day use of the frunk.

Awesome product!

I live in Europe, but still the product arrived quickly! I have just installed the electric front hood on my Tesla Model 3 (Highland). It was an easy DIY installation (less than an hour). Everything fit perfectly and works as described! It is 100% compatible with the Tesla software and it can be easily operated via touchscreen or mobile app.
I recommend this to anyone wanting to upgrade their Tesla experience. Really great product!

Perfect! What Tesla should offer!

While the install was a bit different then instructions and what videos were available online - I have a 2024 M3P - in the end all was well. With the new M3P there is a panel that slides forward on the back of the front storage well that exposes 2 bolts. Placement of the emergency release took creativity.

auto Frunk

I purchased the Electric Frunk and had a local Tesla OEM installer install it. I works great . However when i purchased it i was also supposed to get some kind of a blue light for the inside of the car for free. I never got it, so since it was free i never followed up on it. I do recommend the electric frunk from Hansshow.
