FAQ
1.The car door light does not turn on.
Possible reason: Incorrect power sourcing.
Solution: Plug into the power source at the cigarette lighter position. If you detach the light strip and test it individually, there might be a short circuit in certain areas of the light strip. If the voltage is unstable and below the working voltage, ensure the power voltage is above 12V.
2.Certain areas have abnormal colors and are not synchronized.
Possible reason: Light strip short circuit.
Solution: Check the light strip wiring and adjust individual colors to see if they appear normal.
3.The touch panel cannot be controlled.
Possible reason: The fuse in the power adapter line has blown.
Solution: Replace the fuse in the power adapter line. If the touch panel is damaged, replace the entire panel.
4.The panel's touch control does not work.
Possible reason: Control module is damaged.
Solution: Replace the control module.
5.Does it consume a lot of power?
It has ultra-low power consumption, requiring only 6W.
6.Can it be used for both Model 3 and Model Y?
No, the luminous horn cover molds are different, but everything else is the same.

The final outcome is great but the install is crazy long. Expect 6-10 hours to install the first time. The video is not clear on install. The instructions are as expected … not clear and hard to follow.

For a beginner, this install was a long one in a new 2023 MYP, but well worth the few days it took to complete! It truly does no justice until you see it in person!

4 hr install if you follow instructions
I could do again in 2 hrs.
The door lights are trim to fit.
Make sure you have a good stiff thin pry tool (I used a metal one) to get the strips installed on the doors.
I saved time by running the wires outside the rubber tube on the door jamb.
Use a fish tape to pull the wires thru (kit doesn't come with one).
Pretty straight forward but daunting at first.
For the tweeter speakers, pry the front bottom edge upwards and lift up.
